Llanyrafon GP Surgery

The practice has been contacted for comment and to outline the current service provision at Llanyravon surgery.

Regarding GP provision, the practice has confirmed there is at least one GP onsite Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm when the surgery doors close; the exception to this would be if the GP has been requested to undertake a home visit. There is full provision of GP appointments available throughout the week and the practice would offer appointments at the Llanyravon site when requested if available.

The practice has also confirmed they have Nurse and Health Care Assistant appointments available each day at the Llanyravon site, the hours of which are set out below:

Monday: HCA (until 2pm) & Nurse (until 2.30pm)

Tuesday: HCA (until 1.30pm) & Nurse (until 2.30pm)

Wednesday: 2 x HCA (until 2pm) & Nurse (until 1pm)

Thursday: Nurse (until 5pm) & Phlebotomist (until 2pm)

Friday: HCA (until 4.30pm) & Nurse (until 1pm)

In addition the practice has confirmed that there are midwife appointments available weekly and Diabetic Specialist Nurse appointments available monthly at the Llanyravon site. The practice has advised that repeat prescription collection and drop off are not available at the Llanyravon site however prescription requests can be made via the NHS app and there is a prescription telephone line available for housebound and vulnerable patients.
