Grants to Voluntary Organisations 2023/24
The Council is empowered to distribute grants under the power of Well Being: Local Government Act 2000, s.137 of the Local Government Act 1972 and other powers, including the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976. Grants to individuals cannot be awarded under the last 2 powers. All applications for funding must conform to legislation.
The grant application process is now open, any applications should be returned by Friday 15th September, with grants distributed in December 2023.
